Station Way, West Bay
A landmark scheme of twelve apartments, two shops and four houses at the gateway of this small seaside settlement on the site of a former garage, which provided many technical challenges. The development has been well received locally and has often been mistaken for being built many years ago. Inspiration was taken from local materials and architectural detailing based on original buildings in the settlement as well as mansard roofs and slate hanging found in many harbour locations. Look out for the stone carving and date stone, found above a timber pile taken from West Bay harbour! |

Arundel, Chideock
A sensitive scheme of ten houses in the heart of this historic village. The carefully designed scheme used local materials – bothenhampton stone, honey coloured ham stone, and flint, along with thatch, tile and slate roofs. A range of architectural detailing included purpose made windows, doors and porches designed to complement each other and reflect styles within the locality, a range of chimney styles and a stone carving was commissioned to celbrate the castle that once stood within sight of the development. |

Summerhill, Lyme Regis
A development of twelve luxury apartments with extensive stunning south facing sea views across Lyme Bay, our first multi-storey apartment block provided a number of technical challenges - the foundations – lyme regis being well known for its unstable ground conditions, building on a very confined site, and of course the logistics of building an apartment block. The outcome was well received and another well built property. |

St. James, Netherbury
This small scheme of six houses is located on the edge of this rural village with beautiful views over the surrounding rolling West Dorset hills. Typical local architectural detailing, this scheme enabled us to construct our first timber framed house. |

Highacres, Loders
Nine houses located on the edge of the gorgeous village of Loders, this scheme was the first that Fred was involved in and also included eight social houses. Indication of the scheme’s success can be made in the fact that only one of the nine houses were subsequently sold in the 12 or so years after it was built – that being Fred’s own house! |

|
| In addition to these schemes, Fred is proud to have completed a social housing scheme of thirty nine houses in the heart of Bridport, and several barn conversion projects. |
